Mark recently helped us buy the home of our dreams. We were relocating from San Francisco to the peninsula and were not sure what we really wanted or where to really look. Mark was very patient with us, and help us surveyed houses between San Mateo and Menlo Park until we figured out what we wanted (a house that was walkable to local amenities and a kitchen that looked out to the backyard). When we found the house that we loved, he helped us jump through the many hoops needed to secure the property! In addition to being a good listener and thoughtful agent, I also want to point out that Mark has a great eye for design and is simultaneously very practical. This was very helpful to us early in the process — he taught us the pros and cons of the houses that we viewed, keying in on lighting, flow and overall arrangement of rooms in the property. Through this buying experience, we have gotten to know Mark quite well, and fondly call him Uncle Mark. My husband and I were just starting our search for our first house when Mark was recommended to us by a friend. We are so glad we had his help with every stage of the process, from finding an area to live that meets all of our needs, to looking at various properties and figuring out the pros and cons of each and narrowing down our choices, to getting our bid accepted and of course all that paperwork (plus the million other steps in-between). I went through many real estate agents and it seems that many want to cycle through their deals and make their commission. I met Mark on a walk through years ago and expressed my frustrations about the “crackerjack agents” servicing a hot market. He promised to give me 100% and help me find a home. I expected more of the same. Mark previewed a few homes with me and his attention to detail is amazing. After a few viewings, I gave him my list and told him to let me know when he found what I wanted. In a hot market, two weeks later, a walk through, an offer and Mark was on site and negotiated until i got the home regardless of the bidding war taking place. When I sold the same home several years later he helped facilitate the process, helped with the staging (he has good taste) and AFTER the ink was signed, the new owner complained about paint in the garage and Mark put paint in the trunk of his brand new BMW 5 Series and took it to the dump! He knew I was at a a point of a nervous breakdown with our renovations, contractors and the new owner that kept asking/complaining about things. Mark has the highest attention to detail and actually picks up his cell or calls you right back. He found me the perfect investment duplex in Redwood City. Two years later, he found me an impressive duplex in Sacramento where the local agents found nothing for me. He drove with me to Sacramento 3x to make sure inspections, agreements, title company, etc were handled properly. Most agents in the Bay Area would not have bothered. He is a one of a kind and has helped me build fantastic equity over the past 15 years. I have referred him to all family and friends that need a knowledgeable, repsonsive and dependable agent. I can’t say enough. My wife also is also in disbelief at how he goes way beyond what is required.

We worked with Mark on our new home and it was through his efforts that we were able to get our dream home in Foster City. The deal was complex, the other agent not responsive, but Mark was always able to temper our emotions and managed us, as well as the seller, to achieve one goal: have us obtain in the best conditions the house we wanted. As a first time buyers, Mark explained us the process step by step and we were able to have an offer accepted after 2 tries, which in Foster City is pretty awesome. Mark was recommended to me by a friend and I am great were were able to met. Mark has a long term history of clients he worked with, for selling or buying their dream home. I am glad to be part of his family now, because it looks like when you are client for a day, you are client for life with him. And I wouldn’t miss his Thanksgiving pie party for nothing !
